With the amount of people using smartphones to surf the web these days, it is essential for any website to look good on a phone’s limited browser, with limited screen real estate.
The solution for WordPress based blogs is MobilePress, created by TinyImpact.
What this plugin allows you to do is create a custom theme for mobile browsers, which won’t affect how the blog looks like in a normal browser. There is also the ability to customise the mobile theme for the iPhone, Opera Mini and Windows Mobile.
You can upload your own themes and use those instead of the default theme, so it works very similarly to the regular WordPress themes, so you can create a great user experience on a mobile. The MobilePress themes use the same elements as a regular theme to display the blog.
